Sad news is sweeping social media sites and electronic newspapers after the death of Lebanese musician Elias Rahbani at the age of 83 after contracting Corona disease, and he is the younger brother of the late brothers Assi and Mansour Rahbani.

For two years the musician struggled with Alzheimer’s disease and overcame it, but he was unable to withstand the Corona virus, which tired him and spent his life.

Elias Hanna Rahbani, music composer, arranger, songwriter and conductor, from Lebanon. He was born in the village of Antelias, from the Matn district in the Mount Lebanon Governorate, north of Beirut, in 1938. He presented many musical works that immortalized his name and contributed to the advancement of Arab art.

He studied music at the Lebanese Academy (1945-1958) and the National Institute of Music (1955-1956), in addition to receiving private lessons for ten years, under the supervision of French professors in music.

Elias loved music to the point of passion. He composed more than 2,500 songs and songs, 2,000 of them Arabic. And a thousand soundtracks for more than 25 music films, including films -%
