What is green light therapy and what benefits does it offer?

Red light therapy has gained popularity in the last few years for younger and healthier skin. However, a new option known as green light therapy has also come to the fore. In this article, we have written for you what green light therapy is.

Similar to red light therapy, green light therapy exposes the skin to green light rays through a special device. The main difference between the two applications is that green light has a wavelength between 625-750 nanometers and red light has a wavelength between 590-700 nanometers. In short, green light therapy stands out with its shorter wavelength.
Human skin consists of three layers, from outside to inside: epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. Green light therapy basically focuses on treating problems in the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin. Red light, on the other hand, has the capacity to penetrate deeper.
