It was undoubtedly Daniel Lee’s designs that made Bottega Veneta the popular place it is now. As such, his departure from his powerful position last November had a shock effect in the fashion world. Since then, Lee has preferred to remain silent.

Now this long wait has given way to surprising news. The claim made in the past weeks has thus been confirmed. Daniel Lee has become Burberry’s new creative director, taking over from Riccardo Tisci. The designer will start her new role on October 3rd and will present her first collection under the roof of the British fashion house with the 2023 Fall/Winter fashion show to be held as part of London Fashion Week in February.
